Dateline: 12/16/04

By , About.com Guide

XM Satellite Radio will broadcast the major college football bowl games live from coast-to-coast.

XM's college bowl line-up includes every game from the much-anticipated Bowl Championship Series, which will determine the NCAA Division I football champion.

"XM fans across the country will hear every minute of the most exciting college football games of the season," said Eric Logan, Executive Vice President of Programming, XM Satellite Radio.

In addition to live play-by-play sportscasts, XM provides sports scores in text form on the display screen of its newest radios: the Delphi MyFi XM2Go, the first portable, hand-held satellite radio, and the SKYFi2, the first satellite radio with pause and replay features.

These XM radios have a personalized sports ticker that displays current scores and game times for college football and basketball, as well as professional football, basketball, baseball, hockey, tennis, golf, and NASCAR. XM users can choose their favorite sports and teams to be displayed on the screen.
