Corey: Can you tell me a little about the technical side. Do you own your own server? Does a third party/company handle the technical end?
Dreama: You're talking to someone who isn't really a techie, so, no, I don't own my own server. LBR is streamed through a great company called Mainstream Network.
Corey: How is the programming updated? Do you do that? Someone else?
Dreama: New songs are added to the playlist daily. I don't think my search for good music will ever end. It's become a habit now. And, yes, I do the updating myself. I do the voice tracking and the production. Actually, I do everything on LBR.
Corey: You have a toolbar with Little Buddy Radio already on it, right?
Dreama: I am so excited about this toolbar. It rocks, it really does. It can be downloaded and installed to your computer in just seconds. It's free, with no spyware or viruses, it doesn't open pop-ups or hijack your searches, and it doesn't require any personal information. This toolbar puts a radio right there on your browser, which means you can be listening to Little Buddy Radio with one click.
It comes equipped with the radio, a Google search box, a live weather link and then it also has gadgets you can add on to customize the toolbar and make it yours - things like a calorie counter, Sudoku puzzles, a NY Times crossword puzzle link, a Top News link and my personal favorite, a To Do list. It's a great toolbar, designed to make LBR convenient and accessible.
Corey: What have I missed asking you which you want folks to know.
Dreama: I'd love for fans to have an idea of what the real Bob Denver was like. He was intelligent in ways anyone who knew him only as Gilligan or Maynard would never imagine. I always said I fell in love with his brain because it was a beautiful brain that looked at the world differently than anyone I had ever known.
Bob never lost sight of the child inside himself, which was the reason he was able to create a character that children identified with so strongly. He never ceased to look at the world with wonder and he never ceased being curious.
Bob was a very private person, therefore his fans had no idea that he set aside his career for almost 21 years in order to stand by my side caring for our autistic son. As much as he loved acting, he loved his family more and making sure our son was loved and cherished was the most important thing in his life, his greatest work. Without a doubt Bob's legacy will live on through the characters he made famous, but the legacy of Little Buddy Radio and The Denver Foundation were equally important to him. My mission is to carry on his work and make both entities as successful as he hoped they'd be.
I am blessed to have lived almost 30 years of my life with the best human being I have ever known and carrying on his work is an honor and a privilege.
