JobRadio.fm is the brainchild of Chris Russell and Peter Clayton. Russell is the founder of two career podcasts: Secrets of the Job Hunt and Jobs in Pods. Clayton founded Total Picture Radio. Their shows are now featured on JobRadio.fm which at this writing is broadcasting 12 hours of continuously streaming content.
According to Russell, "We wanted to extend our brands and offer one channel that featured the best career advice on the planet. Internet radio is a great medium and we are filling a need that does not currently exist. The time has come for a station dedicated to making people better job seekers."
Other podcasters with career advice are scheduled to join the service soon and every week "real employment opportunity 'jobcasts' from JobsinPods.com will be added to keep it fresh and timely," according to a press release.
The JobRadio.fm website also provides a variety of sections including written career tips, news, tools, and ability to join an email list for monthly updates.
Additionally, JobRadio.fm provides a playlist of what’s scheduled and what program played last.
