Barking Up the Right Tree
Pets are big which may explain why Mark Winter, Co-Founder of PetLifeRadio.com, recently told me Pet Life Radio "...has millions of pet loving listeners worldwide."
As a matter of fact, the Pet Life Radio website claims to have over 5 million monthly listeners who tune in to hear news and information about dogs, cats, birds, fish, and other exotic pets.
"Pet Life Radio is the largest and #1 pet radio network on the planet, featuring over 50 weekly pet-related talk shows hosted by the most well-known pet experts, authors and radio and TV personalities in the world of animals and pets," says Winter.
Podcasts That Breed Interest
All Pet Life Radio shows are available for free and can be downloaded or streamed on-demand from the PetLifeRadio.com website. Listeners can also subscribe the podcasts via iTunes and other major podcast portals.
Winter says the network now has over 50 different shows. The focus of each show really varies. Just look at some of the show names: "Cattitude", "Horsing Around", "Lizard Lounge", "Pampered Pooch", "Paranormal Pets", "Pets in the City", "Prince of Ponds", "Sassy Seniors", "The Pet Chef", and "Wings 'n Things".
"Paranormal Pets" intrigued me so I dug a little deeper. The show is hosted by Dr. Brandy Stark, PhD and Dusty Rainbolt and looks at "... all aspects of weird or spiritual animal encounters: ghosts, totems, psychic animals, animal souls, animal angels, animals in religion, with little cryptozoology thrown in." There must be a lot of kitty hauntings because the hosts were up to Episode 50 when I looked at their page at Pet Life Radio.
