Guide Review - No Brainer: Freecorder Toolbar Makes Recording Internet Radio Simple

Installation of Freecorder Toolbar is quite simple and straight forward and it's available for both Explorer and Firefox browsers.

Once installed, as with all toolbars, you can choose to add it to your view or not.

Freecorder toolbar comes with a configurable "Radio" which you can add your favorite Internet Radio stations to. A "record", "stop", "pause", and "play" button are clearly visible for quick and easy recording. If you can hear it on your computer's speakers, you can record it with Freecorder Toolbar.

If you want advanced options, there are plenty. You can decide the output format of your recording (MP3 or WAV) as well as the bit-rate, quality, stereo or mono.

You can elect to prompt for a filename before or after the recording or elect to designate it with an automatic timestamp.

You can also decide which audio driver you record from - Freecorder's driver or your Windows input device.

Finally, you can decide in which directory your recording should be placed.

When you begin a recording, Freecorder Toolbar pops up a small window to show you that recording has begun by displaying a graphical representation.

For the price of "free", this is a solid winner.
