Sirius XM Radio kicked off the holidays early by going live with two of its Christmas stations today (11/12). Holiday Traditions (Channel 4) and Holly (Channel 17) are now bringing joy to the world - or at least holiday music to subscribers' ears.  These are the first of a total of seven that will be launched in the coming weeks across the satellite service to complete its seasonal flavors for this holiday season. Sirius XM’s various formats continue to be one of the most complete offerings available for the holiday season.

Each channel is commercial-free and features a specific genre to satisfy any holiday mood. Whether you’re looking for traditional songs and favorites, Country Christmas renditions, Contemporary versions, Soul and R&B, Classical, Latin-flavored or music to accompany the Jewish holiday of Hanukkah, you’ll find it all now through the end of December. The rollout of channels begins today and continues through early December.

Here’s what’s being offered:

Holiday Traditions (Channel 4) – Here you will find traditional tunes beginning in the 1940s and carrying through to the 1960s by artists like Andy Williams, Ray Conniff, Bing Crosby and Nat "King" Cole. Holiday Traditions airs now December 31 at 3:00 am ET.

Holly (Channel 17) – This channel serves up contemporary and traditional songs done by contemporary artists and bands such as Kelly Clarkson, Josh Groban, Michael Buble, Mariah Carey, Trans-Siberian Orchestra, and others. Holly can be heard between now and December 31.

Holiday Pops (Channel 75) – This is the location for enjoying a classical take on holiday music featuring the likes of the Mormon Tabernacle Choir, Boston Pops, The New York Philharmonic, and more. Holiday Pops begins broadcasting December 3 and runs through December 26.

Country Christmas (Channel 58) – If you love Country music there is no reason compromise when it comes to the music that completes your holiday. Country Christmas is playing both contemporary and classic country artists singing a mix of holiday songs. Typical artists include Garth Brooks, Carrie Underwood and Lady Antebellum. Country Christmas begins broadcasting December 3 and runs through December 26.

Navidad (SiriusXM channel 756) – This channel offers Contemporary Latin holiday music from well-known artists like Jose Feliciano, Gloria Estefan, Marco Antonio Solis, El Gran Combo and others. It will broadcast begining December 3 at 12:00 pm ET through January 7 at 3:00 am ET.

Holiday Soul (Channel 49) – For a smooth, soulful Christmas, Holiday Soul features “classic soul” and Motown music from the 1960s and 1970s as well as R&B tunes from the 1980s and 1990s. Artists include Whitney Houston, Smokey Robinson & The Miracles, Aretha Franklin, Michael Jackson, Luther Vandross, Dionne Warwick, The Four Tops, The Supremes and much more. Holiday Soul begins December 10 and runs through December 26.

Radio Hanukkah (Channel 111) – Hanukkah comes early this year (November 11 – December 5) and Sirius XM will launch Radio Hanukkah the first day on  November 27. The station will feature traditional Hanukkah songs performed by various artists.
