In preparation of Howard Stern’s move to SIRIUS Satellite Radio on January 9, 2006, both Stern and SIRIUS have cranked up the promotion/publicity machine in an effort to woo over new subscribers in anticipation of his debut.
To this end, one of the most clever ideas to surface yet is a virtual tour of Stern’s new studio facilities at SIRIUS. By following the link at the end of this article, you can take a self-guide tour through the Stern “Suite” including the studio, his office, and other areas that are being created to house the new $500 million dollar addition to SIRIUS programming.
The tour includes appearances by High Pitch Eric, Jeff the Drunk, and various bikini-clad and buxom young ladies.
The tour does require having Flash installed on your computer system but if you don’t, there’s a convenient link to download the latest version.
Whether you’re a fan of Howard Stern or not, this is a very ingenious promotional stunt which is sure to make its way through the Internet via hundreds of thousands of forwarded emails.
