TimeTraxs patent-pending recording software allows XM Radio listeners to automatically record satellite radio broadcasts onto home PCs to enjoy at any time. The result is similar to the increasingly-popular digital video recorders, making scheduled broadcasts fit into individual lives instead of the other way around.
TimeTrax software, which has been downloaded more than 36,000 times since its August debut, was originally designed for use with the now-discontinued XM PCR device, which receives satellite broadcasts on a personal computer.
The TimeTrax Connect adaptor expands the accessibility of this recording technology, so owners of the XM Direct car stereo unit can now record directly to their PCs, and store the files by artist and title for easy sorting. Files can then be accessed by PC, saved to a CD, or uploaded onto an MP3 player.
We are very happy with the speedy user acceptance of TimeTrax, and are excited now to offer TimeTrax to an even broader market of XM users, said TimeTrax CEO Elliott Frutkin. We believe it is essential for us to develop universal hardware and software solutions that allow consumers to capture satellite radio broadcasts. The launch of this product and the promise of more to follow demonstrates how committed we are to that goal.
TimeTrax ConnectTM includes the TimeTrax recording software and is available for purchase at www.timetraxtech.com.
