By Corey Deitz, About.com

Arbitron and comScore Media Metrix announced today that the online broadcast network Live365 is joining the comScore Arbitron Online Ratings service and will be included in the ratings for the January 2005 survey period.

Live365 is an online radio network offering Internet listeners access to more than 10,000 stations and providing global reach for broadcasters and listeners of music, talk and information programming.

The networks commercial inventory is represented by the firm Ronning Lipset Radio, whose other clients include America Online's AOL Radio Network; Yahoo! Music; and Microsofts MSN Radio and WindowsMedia.com.

"Having Live365 join the comScore Arbitron Online Radio Ratings is a wonderful opportunity for us to showcase its audience size, in a traditional manner, to the national radio community, said Andy Lipset, managing partner of Ronning Lipset Radio."
