Beginnings: Glenn Beck was born born February 10, 1964. He made his Radio "debut" at age 13 on a station in Seattle, Washington. His has been interested in Radio since he was a teenager.

Syndication: Beck's current program is syndicated by Premiere Radio Networks and is heard on hundreds of radio stations.

Television: Beck switched the TV version of his show from CNN Headline News over to the Fox News Channel in January, 2009. He left Fox in mid-2011 and began GBTV.com where he streams video shows by subscription.

Basis for show content: Beck is a Mormon. Politically he tends to echo Libertarian thoughts. He also believes in family values.

Health: On July 17, 2010 Beck announced he was suffering from Macular Dystrophy, an eye disease that could eventually lead to blindness.

On October 13, 2010 Beck announced he was diagnosed with Fiber Neuropathy, a nerve damage condition.
