Personal: Born October 18, 1959 in Syosset, New York. Graduated from Rollins College with a history degree. Chris Russo is known for his feisty, candid approach to talking sports

Radio: Russo is host of SIRIUS XM Satellite Radio's "The Mad Dog Sports Show," weekday afternoons from 2:00 to 7:00pm ET on SIRIUS Channel 123 and XM channel 144.

Prior to that, Russo was co-host of the "Mike and the Mad Dog" show on WFAN/New York for 19 years.

He also worked at WKIS/Orlando between 1984 to 1987 and WMCA/New York from 1987 to 1988.

TV: Russo is a regular on shows like "The Late Show with David Letterman".

Books: He is the author of two books: The Mad Dog 100: The Greatest Sports Arguments Of All Time and, most recently, The Mad Dog Hall of Fame: The Ultimate Top-Ten Rankings of The Best In Sports.

Claim to Fame: An unrestrained rapid-fire delivery that earned him the title "Mad Dog".

Awards: Russo was awarded an NAB Marconi Award in 2000.
