Tantaros bon December 30, 1978 in Allentown, Pennsylvania to immigrant Greek parents. She is a 1997 graduate of Parkland High School and attended Lehigh University where she was graduated in 2001. She was a Journalism and French major.
Tantaros has worked on Capitol Hill where she was Press Secretary to Republican Leadership in the U.S. House of Representatives. She has also worked on several political campaigns.
