May 13 - K-Rock DJ Goes to Prison For One Year Over Tax Evasion - John Marzulli in New York's Daily News reported: "Crazy Cabbie", a K-Rock DJ "...whose real name is Lee Mroszak, was sentenced to a year in prison...after he bragged about being a tax cheat on Howard Stern's radio show."

May 16 - From www.philstar.com: "A bomb sent in a gift box to a radio announcer in Mindanao exploded, killing a teenage boy and hurting another person, police said yesterday." Authorities believe it might have been sent to Lucio Ceniza, an announcer on Gold Radio FM, by a drug pusher Ceniza had gone after on his radio program.

May 19 - Opie & Anthony from XM Satellite Radio sent show crony Nathaniel on another "Assault on the Media" mission. In New York, while CBS Channel 2 reporter Arthur Chi'en was reporting live, Nathaniel snuck up behind him with a large Opie & Anthony sign and shouted "XM Satellite Radio".

This obviously interfered with the reporter's concentration and his report. When Chi'en thought he was off the air he turned around and yelled, "What the f*ck is your problem, man?!!" Unfortunately, Chi'en was actually still live and it went out over the air.
