Chris Lyons, a 31-year-old truck driver overturned his rig while fiddling with his radio. The tanker carrying 8,000 gallons of diesel fuel spilled and caught fire. He survived but it took firemen 8 hours to put out the blaze.

December 6

Michael McGee, a talk show host on WNOV, Milwaukee, was suspended after using the "F" word during his show.

December 14

Lisa Mirick from the "Lisa & Ron" show on KQOB-FM, Oklahoma City, OK, launched into a profanity-laced tirade on the air against her employer and co-workers. Although she threatened to stay in the studio until the cops arrives, she left on her own. Two employees said she appeared to be intoxicated.
