9. In Roxboro, North Carolina, Rodney Michael Cates was killed by his truck radio. Cates truck went off the road, hit a driveway culvert, went airborne, and on the way down, the radio popped out of the dashboard, hit him in the head and killed him.
8. Bobby Mason, 23, and Clarence Day, 22, were cited for disorderly conduct and traffic violations. It seems they worked for WKST-FM, Pittsburgh and were standing in skirts with no shirts holding a sign that said, "Honk if you can see my testicles".
7. A Romanian DJ, Alin Farcus, seized control of his own radio station and threatened to jump from a balcony if he wasnt given the back pay due him. His boss agreed to fork over the $425 bucks.
6. Police in Henderson, Texas say Teresa Wolfes husband, William, tried to kill her by knocking a radio into the bathtub she was in. She lived and he was charged with attempted murder.

Although she threatened to stay in the studio until the cops arrives, she left on her own. Two employees said she appeared to be intoxicated.
4. Billy Wayne Miles called KMCM-FM in Odessa Texas asking for a request. After 3 tries with no success, he made another call: a bomb threat. Miles was charged with a felony.
3. Teapot Tim from WIHT-FM covered himself in foam padding and let listeners set off fireworks on him. He wasnt injured but another person suffered minors burns - and then the cops showed up.
2. In Somerset, Wisconsin, a 32-year-old man was killed when he base-jumped from the top of a 940 foot high radio station tower.
1. Jim the Photographer, a regular on Ray Lytle's Morning Disaster heard on WQLZ-FM, wound up in the hospital after launching bottle rockets from his buttocks. He suffered burns to his behind and anus.
