A fleece jacket given to and worn by Bob Edwards on what turned out to be his last Morning Edition staff retreat, is being is being auctioned off on Ebay.

After sporting the jacket at the retreat, Edwards, now the host of The Bob Edwards Show, which airs weekday mornings on XM Satellite Radio, decided it was too small and gave it to an NPR staff member.

The staff member, still upset over Edwards’ less than ceremonial dismissal last April, has decided to put it up for auction and in protest plans to give the proceeds to NPR competitor, American Public Radio.

American Public Radio is the satellite radio subsidiary of Public Radio International (PRI), a programming partner of XM Satellite Radio.

Edwards is heard on XM Public Radio, Channel 133.
