Question: You provide the tools for anyone to easily create a podcast. Tell me a little about that.
Answer: We have the single most complete system to help podcasters publish, manage and publicize their content on the Internet at this time. We call it MCSP (Media Control System Professional) We have been developing it for over five years and have invested almost a quarter of million dollars in it.
We provide a lot of formal coaching for the person who wants to podcast and we have a very extensive online form for all our radio hosts and podcasters to they are constantly learning tips and tricks on how to make it all work better and gain greater results.
Question: Where do you see this all going?
Answer: I see podcasting as the single greatest expansion of spoken word ever. It is as significant as it appears to be.
Question: In conclusion what would you like to say to the readers?
Answer: When I started conducting interviews on the Internet in 1979 I did not have a radio background or any experience whatsoever in broadcasting. I didn't even know if I could do it, but, I did have a deep urge to say some things that I thought needed to be said and a commitment to bring forward good ideas into the world.
Now, 425 interviews later, I am even more convinced how important it is for people to say what they need to say. Everybody's experience and knowledge is valuable to someone. You might only be a half a step ahead of someone else but some of those steps take a lifetime to make so that half a step is valuable. Podcasting facilitates the delivery of your thoughts and ideas to someone who needs them and that is why this is such an important development and worthy of our time.
