That’s why I suggested in the title of this article that Howard Stern might have considered Podcasting (po$$ibly $ub$cription based) instead of Satellite Radio. After all:
1. With the possibility of the F.C.C sticking its nose into SIRIUS or XM’s business further down the road…
2. The potentially diminished stature of Satellite Radio as wireless networks expand…
3. The “X” factor of what technology is yet to bring…
3. And the fact that Stern doesn’t need the money…
If he really wanted to guarantee his artistic freedom, he just may have been seduced by the wrong technology.
