mSpot Subscribers Will Receive CBS Radio Sports Programming on Cell Phones

CBS Radio and mSpot have partnered to make three of CBS Radio’s sports stations available to subscribers of mSpot’s All-Sports mobile radio service, mSpot Sports, which is currently available on select Sprint mobile phones.

Beginning immediately, users of the service will be able to hear a live stream of New York’s WFAN-AM, Chicago’s WSCR-AM and Philadelphia’s WIP-AM on their mobile phones by tuning into MSpot Sports.

Shows including WFAN’s Imus in the Morning and Mike and the Mad Dog, WSCR’s Mike North, and WIP’s Howard Eskin will be among the many programs listeners will have access to on mSpot’s Sports Radio Channel.

mSpot aggregates premium entertainment from major media companies to produce cell phone programming. In addition to mSpot Sports, the company currently offers three premium mobile entertainment services: mSpot Radio, 30 channels of live and on-demand streaming music, news, sports, finance, entertainment and talk radio; mSpot Music, interactive streaming radio that features commercial-free music, videos, exclusive shows, and one-click music purchasing; and mSpot Movies, a mobile entertainment service that streams full-length feature films to mobile phones.

CBS Radio operates 179 radio stations, the majority of which are in the nation's top 50 markets.
