Stations will be more apt to hiring more personnel to provide important functions that are now sometimes either skimped on or skipped over, including the areas of production and promotions.

Paying Towards the National Debt
Privatizing AM and FM radio and selling the licenses outright would also provide a windfall of money which could be applied toward the national debt.
What better use for this money than to help America reduce its arrears?
For this, and the other four reasons I have already stated, the privatization of AM and FM radio frequencies in the United States would be a bold move forward in allowing AM and FM radio stations to stay competitive and relevant as we move forward in a world where new technologies continue to re-define what Radio is and how we interact with it.
