NewsRadio was a very successful television sitcom that ran from 1995 - 1999. The show took place at a fictious News Radio station called WNYX. It starred Dave Foley as News Director "Dave Nelson", Stephen Root as Station Manager "Jimmy James", Andy Dick as "Matthew Brock", Maura Tierney as "Lisa Miller", Joe Rogan as "Joe Garelli" and Phil Hartman as egotistical newsman "Bill McNeal".
