Education: Attended Texas A&M University until 1967 followed by law school in Atlanta. Neal practiced law until he signed a contract with WSB in 1992.
Radio: Boortz has been in Talk Radio for almost 40 years. He has lived in Atlanta, Georgia since 1969. His current program originates in Atlanta on WSB and has since 1992. His show began syndication in 1999.
