We love Internet radio but we hate being stuck at our computer when we want to listen. One of the newer solutions to this problem is the Phoenix Wi-Fi Radio from Com One. It brings thousands of radio stations from across the Internet into your home – without the need of a PC.

It only requires a Wi-Fi gateway or wireless router to free up your audio plus the Phoenix allows the user to add any viable audio source.

The Phoenix Wi-Fi comes with a preloaded menu listing audio by genre, country, state, and city. But, you can also add a station or Podcast not listed by registering online and creating a "personal management page".

Faster Connectivity

Phoenix’s manufacturer, Com One, says a new firmware upgrade "provides improved Wi-FI quality and stability with a WPA connection that is 25% faster than the previous version and with an enhanced dynamic network bandwidth manager."
