Police shot and killed a man on Friday who threatened a Christian-formatted radio station in State College, Pennsylvania.
According to cnn.com: "...the station received a tip...that someone armed with a shotgun was asking people for the address of the radio station and for money...Officers intercepted the man as he arrived at the station, where he began shooting at police..."

Clinton Grybas was found dead yesterday at his home after not showing up for his midday shift at radio station 3AW. Grybas was the host of "Sports Today". Theage.com.au reports: "All that remains is the mystery of what killed an apparently healthy young man, due to turn 33 next month, who held the promise of becoming Australia's pre-eminent sporting commentator."

Your basic car radio: a piece of electronic technology people are apparently willing to kill for. At least in Stratford, England. BBC News reports: "Two brothers have been found guilty of murdering a father-of-two after they tried to steal a radio from his car." This is not the first time a radio has been at the center of tragedy.
