Just when you thought it was safe to turn on your radio, something or someone made the world seem a little more dangerous and unsafe because of their relationship to it...or maybe radio was just in the wrong place at the wrong time. Murder Trial of Former WABC Newsman Underway

A murder trial based on a gruesome crime committed in March, 2009 underway at this writing in Kings County, New York. John Katehis, 17, is accused of stabbing Longtime WABC radio newsman, George Weber, about 50 times in the head, neck, front, and rear torso. Katehis is claiming self-defense brought on by an S&M sex act that went awry.

Howard Stern's NYC Studios 'Bugged'

Howard Stern's SIRIUS XM studios in New York City were the victim to creepy, crawly bedbugs. According to wenn.com: "...the office where he broadcasts his famous Sirius XM Radio show had to be fumigated...while specially-trained sniffer dogs also found the pests in the star's limousine."

Radio Zed: Protect the Transmitter from Zombies

I accidentally came across an online game called Radio Zed. The point of the game is to "Protect your radio transmitter from a zombie apocalypse! You and your friends are stuck in a small town and your supplies running out. The radio transmitter on the roof of your building is your only hope for salvation, but it is still silent. The zombies outside seem to be attracted to the signal...."
