But, it was at WAAF, Worcester/Boston, Bob began to gain notoriety with song parodies he called "Twisted Tunes". They were so clever, ABC Radio offered to syndicated them. In 1987, Rivers moved WIYY in Baltimore. From there Rivers went to Seattle and did mornings for 10 years at KZOK-FM until October, 2010 when he was taken off the air due to failed contract negotiations.
Claims to Fame: Besides being known for his "Twisted Tunes", Rivers performed an 11-day, on-air marathon during the 1988 Orioles losing streak which almost killed him.
