The Seattle Times reported she "...was wearing a helmet, but had head injuries...[Roth]...collided with a deer...[and]...was riding a 1980 Honda motorcycle when the collision happened..."
Show Producer, Rick Sill, issed this statement at Laurie Roth's official website:
On the afternoon of Thursday, August 25th, Laurie Roth was critically injured in a motorcycle accident in Washington State. At this time, her condition has improved and she is now listed in 'serious' condition. It is my understanding that Laurie is expected to recover, but we do not yet have a time frame for that recovery.
The show will continue to air in it's regular time slot with guest hosts and some replays. We will keep you informed as to Laurie's condition as we receive information.
