Clear Channel Fires Little Rock Classic Rock Morning Host Tommy Smith

Tommy Smith, longtime Little Rock morning radio personality, was fired today by employer Clear Channel Communications for what the company would only say were reasons related to its recent "Zero Tolerance" policy on Radio indecency.

Gordon Heiges, the Market Manager for the Clear Channel radio stations in Little Rock, declined to add any further specifics.

Also let go was Danny Crawford, the program's producer and one of Smith's sidekicks.

Smith was employed with Magic 105, a Classic Rock radio station.
