Randy Washington of Dolton, Illinois, was jailed because he just couldn't keep from bragging on a radio show. In September, 2004, Washington called a Chicago radio station and blatantly gave details about a robbery that had occurred at a South Chicago Heights TCF Bank. The FBI was able to track Washington down based on that call and he was sentenced to 40 months in prison. 2005

From Apopka, Florida comes word that two men who argued with each other over CB radios for 6 years, finally met in person and went at each other. Sun-sentinel.com reports: "One was grazed with a bullet. One was sprayed with Mace. Both ended up in the Orange County Jail, police said...Both men told police they knew each other only from arguing for six years over the CB radio airwaves." - 2006

XM Radio suspended Gregg "Opie" Hughes and Anthony Cumia, hosts of "The Opie & Anthony Show" and ceased broadcast of the show for 30 days. Their crime: according to Fox News: "XM Satellite Radio shock jocks Opie and Anthony apologized...for airing a homeless man's crude comments that he'd like to have sex with Condoleezza Rice and Laura Bush. - 2007
This from wkyc.com: "K-Rock (92.3 FM) radio personality, Dominic Dieter, has been released from the hospital following a morning radio stunt...Dieter was placed and sealed in a barrel and rolled down a hill..." Unfortunately, Dieter was partially ejected when the lid popped off and wound up needing medical care. - 2007
According to chron.com: "A volunteer at a community radio station set fire to the station because he was upset that his song selections for an overnight Internet broadcast were changed, police said." Paul Webster Feinstein, 24, was arrested on an arson charge for a fire on January 5 that caused $300,000 in damages. The target of his disaffection was KOOP which is heard on 91.7 FM. - 2008
