Features of the Bose Wave Radio/CD include: High-fidelity performance, remote controlled volume, customize wake-up for two different times or two different stations, digital tuning with 6 AM and 6 FM presets, VFD vacuum fluorescent display, and an auxillary jack to connect to a TV, VCR, CD player or computer.

CCRadio plus

The C Crane Company is known for their CCRadio plus which boasts exeptional AM Radio reception. This product also includes FM reception, NOAA weather radio (WX), special weather alerts and TV audio from channels 2-13. There are presets for each band. The CCRadio has other convenient features including a Built in timer which will turn radio on at a preset time. An additional product, the VersaCorder, can be used with the CCRadio plus to record a radio show automatically. The CCRadio runs about $159 and the VersaCorder is $109.

Freeplay Radios

Finally, for those campers, hunters, fishermen, outdoorsmen, survivalists and hermits who wish to live far away from humanity in a cave or under some logs, there is the Freeplay product line of radios There are many choices including solar powered and hand-crank.
