Teeny Bopper DJ Shopper (aka Phone Hooker) - A female (generally under age) who calls DJs with sexual come-ons. They strike mostly in the evening. Most do not follow through and never meet the guy after his shift. Some do. They should all be doing their homework and not wasting time on the phone trying to get some poor, lonely guy on the radio ARRESTED. If Mommy and Daddy find out they'll ground her and KILL him.

Breakfast Fairy - This is a well-intentioned listener who for whatever reason feels they need to nurture their favorite morning show. They are convinced DJs are always hungry and will eat anything at anytime. This is a correct assumption. He/she will stop into the radio station with breakfast for them and sometimes, a regular pattern will continue and he/she becomes so familiar with the Radio personalities that he/she can even become a bit cast player on the show by the sheer nature of their presence. Modus Operandi: Donuts or Egg McMuffins.

Plug Slug - This is a variation on the Breakfast Fairy. It is any owner of a small business who is too cheap to buy Radio advertising. They are sly and will prey on morning shows by bringing by food (especially appropriate for restaurant grand openings). The morning show ALWAYS feels obligated to at least mention their business on the air, sometimes a special they are running, etc. It is similar to “payola” only no money changes hands. Just calories. Commonly refered to as “EATola”.

EgoMoroniac (pronounced: Ego More On E Ack) - Puberty apparently has just kicked in because this listener suffers from a large dose of hormones which seem to have only one way of expressing themselves: by calling up the DJ and trying to get some sort of four-letter word on the air. Most Radio people pre-record calls. But, sometimes it is not possible and you just have to go live with them. It is not terribly hard to discern when a guy on the Radio is taking live calls and the EgoMoroniac lies in wait for that moment hoping to call in and shock someone with the “F” word. Of course, now that America has drawn Ozzy Osbourne close to its heart, the “F” word has lost it's luster and the only thing it stands for when it comes to this guy is “Fool”.
