XM Satellite Radio has announced that the Lexus' 2004 model LS 430 will arrive in dealers' showrooms this month with XM radio as a dealer-installed option. The LS 430 with XM is the first Lexus model ever to be offered with a satellite radio option.

"XM radio is an obvious choice for Lexus' flagship vehicle, the LS 430," said Steve Cook, XM's Executive Vice President of Sales and Marketing. "Lexus is a brand for discerning buyers who expect and value only the best quality. Clearly, XM's quality programming and service will have tremendous appeal to these buyers."

Toyota Motor Corporation has made XM available on vehicles in each of its brands: Toyota, Scion and Lexus.

This fall, XM will be available as a factory or dealer installed option in the following automotive brands:

  • Buick
  • Oldsmobile
  • Cadillac
  • Pontiac
