America Online has launched AOL® Communicator, a stand-alone, communications product for AOL® members.

The company says Communicator provides AOL for Broadband users with one-click access to Radio@AOL for Broadband, featuring more than 175 stations of music, news, sports, entertainment, popular terrestrial radio programming and more, all in CD-quality audio.

Members can also share favorite stations, allowing their current selection to be displayed when instant messaging with friends and family, or send the stations directly via instant messaging.

AOL members can download AOL Communicator for Windows at no charge from AOL Keyword: AOL Communicator. A version of AOL Communicator for AOL® for Mac OS X members will be available in the Fall. For more information on AOL 9.0 Optimized, please visit www.aolepk.com.
