Ron Kuby
Personal: Ron Kuby is a practicing civil rights criminal defense attorney. He has represented numerous controversial clients in some of the most high-profile criminal and civil rights actions.

In 1996, Kuby and Curtis Sliwa was paired up for a show called "Monday Night Fights" on WABC/New York.
The chemistry between Sliwa and Kuby prompted WABC Program Director, Phil Boyce, to move them to mornings on WABC in May 2004.
Sliwa and Kuby lost their morning slot in November, 2007 when Citadel Broadcasting brought Don Imus back to radio to do mornings at WABC-AM.
Kuby joined Air America Radio in June, 2008, to host "American Afternoon" heard from 3 - 6 p.m. ET.
Claim to Fame: Kuby was associated with civil rights lawyer William M. Kunstler, of "Chicago 8" fame, for 13 years.
Awards: Ron Kuby and former on-air partner, Curtis Sliwa, were nominated in 2003 and 2004 by Radio and Records magazine as top talk show hosts of the year. They won the honor in 2004. Also nominated in 2003 by the NAB for a Marconi as local talk show hosts of the year.
