Randi Rhodes
Personal: Originally from Brooklyn, New York.
Radio: Rhodes' career began in Seminole, Texas but she worked in New York, Dallas, and Milwaukee before making a real name for herself in South Florida at WIOD, Miami and WJNO, West Palm Beach.
Randi was formerly heard weekdays on Air America Radio. She resigned April 10, 2008 after being suspended for controversial (off air) remarks made about Hillary Clinton.
Rhodes subsequently joined the novaM Radio Network and began a new syndicated show April 14, 2008.
On April 23, 2009, Premiere Radio announced it would syndicate Randi Rhodes, weekdays from 3-6pm ET.
Claim to Fame: One of Talkers Magazine Heavy 100 and one of the original Air America Radio personalities.
Awards: Most Outstanding Woman in the Air Force in 1979American Women in Radio and Television Award for Best Entertainment Programming
