Born: in Milwaukee as the youngest of four sons.
Beginnings: Feldman attended and graduated from University of Wisconsin in 1970. He taught at Malcolm Shabazz Alternative High School in Madison for a short time. Then, in 1978 he began working at radio station WORT, first in the evenings, then doing the morning show.
After a couple of years, Feldman quit radio to drive a cab. He quit that some time later and wound up on Wisconsin Public Radio, doing a weekly show on Saturdays at noon, called "High Noon". Several other shows followed until Feldman was hired at WGN, Chicago to do afternoon drive.
In 1984, he was fired and went back to Wisconsin Public Radio in 1985.
Odd Claim to Fame: While doing his program, "High Noon", he referred to himself as ""the fastest Mike in the Midwest."
