TV/Radio: Schultz began as a sportscaster and worked for 15 years as a TV play-by-play announcer and color commentator.In 1992, he launched a regional talk show called "News and Views" which was syndicated to other regional markets because of its success.
Ed Schultz spent sixteen years on local radio in his hometown of Fargo, N.D., where he generated blockbuster ratings and a 20-share for local affiliate, KFGO.
