Radio: Lit worked on WCAU, WHAT, WRCV, WIBG, WDAS-FM, WPGR, WSNI and WOGL. Lit was a local legend in Philadelphia for 50 years.

Claim to Fame: Lit was sent to New York City in 1964 to "represent Philadelphia" and was the first Philly DJ to get The Beatles on his radio show.

Awards: In 2003, Lit was inducted into the Broadcast Pioneers of Philadelphia Hall of Fame, Named Oldies Personality of the Year in 1999 by Radio and Records magazine.
