Now, let's look at the music choices for each service.

All of SIRIUS' music channels are commercial-free. Most of XM's music channels are commercial-free except for a handful which are programmed by Clear Channel Radio and will remain that way until sometime in 2008.

Each service features dedicated channels to music from the '40s, '50s, '60s, '70s, '80s, and '90s.

Each service features its own presentation of music genres:

SIRIUS genres include: Pop, Rock, Electronic/Dance, HipHop/R&B, Country, Christian, Jazz & Blues, Broadway, Standards, Classical, Latin.

I prefer the SIRIUS music lineup

XM genres include: Country, Hits, Christian, Rock, Urban, Jazz & Blues, Lifestyle, Dance, Latin, World, Classical, Kids.
