YM, a magazine geared toward teenage girls, has announced the results of their exclusive poll on the recent legal struggles of radio shock jock Howard Stern.

The readers of YM weighed in on Stern who claims both President George Bush and the Federal Communications Commission are working with the "religious right" to take him off of the air, because of his highly charged criticism on the current administration in recent weeks.

Over 4,000 readers participated in the survey. The following is the poll question that was listed on YM.com from Wednesday, March 10th - Sunday, March 14th.

On February 26, Clear Channel Communications yanked the Howard Stern show from six radio stations because of what they termed 'vulgar' and 'offensive' remarks on his show. But Stern insists this has nothing to do with indecency. The star has been critical of President Bush recently, and he insists that Clear Channel is pro-Bush and wants Stern off the air to stop him from speaking out. What do you think?

66%: "I think that this is an issue of freedom of speech. Howard Stern should be allowed to stay on the air and say whatever he wants. If people don't like it, they don't have to listen to him.

34%: "Howard Stern has gone too far and should be pulled from the radio. His show is way too offensive."

Total Votes = 4,297
