Former Denver Radio Traffic Reporter Goes To Prison For Child Porn

TheDenverChannel.com is reporting that former Denver Radio traffic reporter, Sam Hammer, has been sentenced to federal prison for 8 years.

The conviction is the result of a plea barain in which Hammer, whose real name is Dean Edward Letschka, admitted having a relationship over the Internet with a 14-year-old girl who actually turned out to be an undercover Postal Inspector in Washington, D.C.

Hammer also admitted to buying a vibrator and mailing it to the "girl" and asking her to mail him pictures of her using it.

In addition, traces of child porn were found on his home computer along with other incriminating evidence. Hammer, 50, will begin serving his sentence immediately.
