Nick Tansley Fired - Last Radio Stunt: Pushing People's Hands Up A Turkey Butt

According to stuff.co.nz, 91ZM, Wellington, New Zealand has let Nick Tansley go from their morning wake-up crew.

As par with Radio management around the world, he was not allowed to bid his listeners goodbye. (Read THIS for more on getting fired in Radio.)

91ZM's General Manager, George McTavish, explains his departure by saying the morning show needed to be "refreshed" because the "changing tastes" of the station's demo, 18-34 year-old women.

Grant Kereama and Pauline Gillespie remain part of the morning show.

Tansley was known for his goofy stunts and antics, and he went out shoving people's hands up a turkey's butt. A true golden moment for New Zealand Radio.
