England's Radio 1 Bans Michael Jackson Single, 18 Other Stations Follow

The Mirror.co.uk is reporting today that Michael Jackson's new single, "One More Chance", has been banned byRadio 1and 18 additional stations owed by Emap.

The report says the news stories concerning Michael Jackson's alleged child molestation and subsequent arrest, have split the BBC on whether the song should be played or not.

A Radio 1 spokesperson tried to downplay the ban was saying, "Jackson's not as relevant to our young audience as he once was," according to Mirror.co.uk.

But, according to a poll conducted by London's Capitol Radio, 81% of their listeners want to hear the new Jackson single.
