Newswatch 16 is reporting Scranton, Pennsylvania radio station owner, Doug Lane, has been arrested on child molestation charges. Lane, who owns WWDL, is accused of conducting a 4-year relationship with a boy which began when he was 12-years-old.

Police say the alleged crime began 13 years ago, between 1990 and 1994. The allegations came from the alleged victim, now 25, who approached authorities on Tuesday to report the crime. He said Lane had pictures which would back up his charges.

Authorities searched Lane’s home and WWDL this past Tuesday and District Attorney, Andy Jarbola, confirms evidence was found during the search.

Authorities claims Lane disposed of a computer the next day which they believe may have housed more evidence.

Newswatch 16 quoted Jarbola as saying, "Based upon the information we that we currently have there's a good, more than a good possibility there may be other victims out there. We would like those people to give our office a call..."

Lane was charged and release on bail Wednesday afternoon.

His station, WWDL bills itself as “Northeast Pa's Music Station - - The New 104.9 WWDL”. It plays artists from the '80s and '90s including Matchbox 20, Bruce Springsteen, Faith Hill, Billy Joel, Celine Dion, and Journey.
