Anthony tells FHM, "The first thing he said to us was, 'What time do you wake up in the morning and decide how you are going to f--- Mel Karmazin? He was angry because another on-air personality from Infinity had complained we'd been touching on his personal life."
Opie and Anthony's exclusive interview is featured in the February issue of FHM, the magazine's first ever comedy issue, on sale nationwide today. In Opie and Anthony's contribution to "The Comedians' Guide to Life" - contributors include Darrell Hammond, Dave Chappelle, Penn & Teller and Tracy Morgan, among others - they provide firsthand knowledge on how to annoy your boss by speaking on the record for the first time since being bumped from the airwaves:
-- Anthony: "The bosses really get you with your contract. We can get them with hijinks, but in the end, when they pull out the paper you signed, ouch. There are some contractual things that we really can't discuss that are keeping us off the air."
-- Opie: "I tried to read our contract before signing it, but by the fifth page, I was dizzy....We learned about the clause that's keeping us from working for anyone else after we got fired."
-- Anthony: "We take it as a compliment to our talent and destructive ability that they want to tie us up for so long. It's sort of a tribute to the potential that we have to wreak havoc."
