Chicago's WLS-AM Pulls Garry Meier Off-The-Air

DJHeadlines.com is reporting WLS-AM 890 afternoon co-host Garry Meier was relieved of his on-air duties a month before his contract was up.

Meier has been doing afternoons on WLS since 1996 and has worked with Roe Conn for about 8 years. The two have consistenly drawn a large 25-54 audience. Conn, whose contract runs through mid-June, will continue to do the program solo.

DJHeadlines.com reports if Meier doesn't come to a new agreement with WLS, other stations who may be interested include: WCKG-FM, WLUP-FM, and WSCR-AM.
