Bob Rivers
Radio: Bob Rivers began his career in Connecticut where he worked at WAVZ, WNHC, WCDQ, WELI, WFIF, WCCC, WWCO, and WLIS. After leaving there, he worked jobs in Massachusetts, Rhode Island and New Hampshire.
But, it was at WAAF, Worcester/Boston, Bob began to gain notoriety with song parodies he called "Twisted Tunes". They were so clever, ABC Radio offered to syndicated them. In 1987, Rivers moved WIYY in Baltimore. Bob now does mornings at KZOK-FM, Seattle.
Claim to Fames: Besides being known for his "Twisted Tunes", Rivers performed an 11-day, on-air marathon during the 1988 Orioles losing streak which almost killed him.
Claim to Fame He's Most Likely Like To Forget: Bob left Radio for a while to play keyboards and write some songs for a '70s bar band.
