It seems like radio hosts just don't get suspended like they used to. But, here comes Dean (Boomer) Molberg, host on Rogers Sportsnet 960 The Fan, a radio station in Calgary, Alberta. What did this Canadian sports talk host do?
"On Wednesday Molberg was talking about the Saskatchewan Roughriders upcoming playoff game in Calgary. During the segment he said that he hoped the team's plane crashed and four players would die," reports thebiglead.com.
Molberg was suspended for the remainder of the CFL Playoffs and the station says it will donate to the Roughrider's favorite charity.
Molberg apologized late last week calling his previous comments "stupid and idiotic."
