The Radio Hall of Fame is set to induct a new class of nominees this Saturday evening in Chicago. They include: Gary Burbank, Ron Chapman, Terry Gross, Luther Masingill, Art Laboe, Jack L. Cooper, and Howard Stern. (Photo: Sirius Satellite Radio)

Stern has been passed over four times but was chosen for induction this year. So far, according to Robert Feder's "Time Out Chicago" blog, there's no official word that Stern plans to attend. Feder reports Stern mentioned a letter of congratulations on his satellite radio show but hasn't responded.

Stern has mocked the Radio Hall of Fame in the past.

This year's event will take place at the New Museum of Broadcast Communications, 360 N. State Street beginning at 6 p.m.

You can listen to samples of all the inductees and read bios at radiohof.org.
