Rush Limbaugh Program Continues to Bleed Advertisers

A report at freep.com puts the number of advertisers to run for the hills and pull commercials from Rush Limbaugh's daily program to now number 11. (Right: Rush Limbaugh Publicity Photo)

"But a backlash that might be a career-breaker for some commentators seemed unlikely to dent Limbaugh's considerable stature among his 15 million weekly listeners and conservative leaders," notes the story.

Limbaugh has drawn criticism from both sides of the political aisle after labeling a law school student a "slut" and "prostitute" who testified to a Democratic congressional committee in favor of paid-for contraception as part of national health care.

Limbaugh has since apologized to Sandra Fluke through his website and Monday, on-air during his regular weekday broadcast. Rush Limbaugh is heard on over 600 radio stations nationwide.
